About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Consumer Technology. This individual will act in the highest technical capacity as an individual contributor and lead other engineers for the development of complex computer applications and initiatives. The candidate will need to have a thorough understanding of available technologies and tools, including but not limited to: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, Kafka, PCF/Azure Cloud, and MongoDB. This is not a remote position. It is expected that this individual will work at one of the locations indicated in this description. In addition, we cannot consider individuals seeking sponsorship or visa transfers.
In this role, you will:

Need to have working experience in system development methodology.

Ability to utilize a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.

Analyze highly complex business requirements and have the ability to write a complex functional system design to meet business requirements.

Highest level individual contributor as a developer on projects, work with various technology partners and work with Principal Engineers and architects to understand different technology solutions, providing technology recommendations, implementing and support postproduction support.

Develop new documentation for departmental procedures, training and user guides.

Assures quality, security, business continuation plan and compliance requirements are met and documented for supported area.
Required Qualifications, US:
-
4 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

4 years of J2EE experience
Desired Qualifications:

4 years of technical design experience

4 years of experience with full Software Development Life Cycle using Agile, Iterative and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Applications knowledge within financial service or payment including Home Equity Lines and Loans, Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Retail Loans, Business Loans, Automobile, and Educational Loans is highly desired

Demonstrated experience within our modern technology stack including Spring Boot, Angular/React, Microservices, Kafka, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, New Relic, AppDyanamics, Selenium, Cloud Technologies (PCF/Azure), and MongoDB
