Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Hoffman Estates, IL.
Job Role and Responsibility: Analyze business and technical requirements – developing system design based on requirements; develop code that satisfies business and technical requirements while meeting the expected standards of availability, performance, integrity, stability, and scalability; define, design, develop, and implement technology solutions to support the organization's strategic initiatives; produce architecture and design documents to effectively communicate solutions to teams and partners; design, develop, implement, and support applications in the Mainframe z/OS operating environment with exceptional analytical skills; support the Platform Management team in maintaining stable and secure software applications; ensure that quality, security, and compliance requirements are met; be a technical thought leader – providing guidance on important technical matters; provide expertise on coding standards and conduct code reviews; ensure development best practices are being followed; and manage resources, delegate work, and provide guidance and direction to junior developers.

Required Qualifications : This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.
