This role will work closely with a team of architects as well as engineers and perform range of activities required to design, implement, and continuously automate a large, complex hybrid cloud environment - both on-prem as well as public cloud.
The ideal candidate is passionate about new technologies and architecture and keeps current with trends in the hybrid cloud platform and infrastructure space while searching for ways to modernize the digital infrastructure in line with regulatory/compliance requirements
In this role, you will:
Lead in component architecture and participate in enterprise architecture activity
Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy
Develop and maintain business system and corporate architectures
Review and research complex technology and system assessments for component architecture
Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives
Produce product area architecture specifications
Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and capabilities in order to prepare and respond to customer needs and expectations
Provide in-depth technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture
Required Qualifications, US:
4 years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2 years demonstrable experience in Cloud computing including Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
2 year of demonstrable experience in Container as a Service (CaaS)
2 years of experience in architecting and designing an automated infrastructure pipeline preferably with Terraform and Ansible
2 years of Agile Experience
2 years of technical or architectural documentation skills
Desired Qualifications:
Hands on experience with Azure or GCP BluePrints
An industry- standard technology certification such as VMWare Certified Professional, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Cloud Database services
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels with an organization
Strong compute, networking and storage skills
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Pay Range:
- NY – New York Pay Range: $115900 - 206100 Annually
Pay Range
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00 AnnualBenefits
