Sr Network Engineer Automation

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer...

In this role, you will:

• Requirements gathering, design, development, test, release for automation scripts/processes in Python/Ansible
• Knowledge and experience working with JSON
• Evaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard procedures, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported
• Research performance trends and recommend process improvements
• Knowledge and experience working with RESTful API
• Creating/modifying/automating the operational reports
• Utilizing Ansible orchestration and Python scripting to simplify high volume and/or high-risk tasks for business partners
• Identify gaps in current technology processes and recommend changes to assure Service Level Agreements can be supported
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4 years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 4 years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Ansible, Perl, Python, YAML, Java, or PL-SQL
• 4 years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
• 4 years of experience with Linux OS environment
• 4 years of experience with source coding in one or a combination of the following: GitHub, SVN(Subversion), TFVC (Team Foundation Version Control) or TFSGit (Team Foundation Server
• Experience with creating and or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams 

Desired Qualifications:

• Act as senior TM and work closely with various LoB, stakeholders to understand requirements, define and develop appropriate solutions for Network Automation.
•  Primary area of contribution would be network administration and development of work flow Automation for Compliance ,configuration mgmt. and software code control in highly complex network environment.
• Development of standards to govern the deployment of Network Automation solutions and services within core network based on best practices and model driven approach.
• Good understanding of Networking protocols
• writing template – Jinja / YAML /Python along hands on experience in Orchestration platforms, Ansible configuration , Writing playbooks etc.
• Experience in Git, Jira, Jenkins usage and integrations.
