Warehouse Associate; 2nd shift

Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting various warehouse departments within the distribution center, while having the willingness to be cross trained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality, efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction throughout the departments.
• Communicate effectively with peers.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.
• Be actively involved in proactive measures towards safety for self and co-workers.
• Ability to meet job expectations and duty changes as required by changing company needs.
• Other job activities as assigned.

Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and work instructions or procedure manuals
• Math skills used add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and to compute rate, ratio and percentage
• Critical thinking skills necessary to solve practical problems
• Basic computer skills

Equipment Used:

• Pallet jack, Fork Lift, Presto Lift, Mouse cart

Personal Protective Equipment/Clothing Required (PPE):

• Closed toe shoes
• Department specific PPE as required.
