POSITION SUMMARY
In addition to performing daily operational procedures and clinical service representative responsibilities, the Team Lead serves as a resource for all center staff by supporting and participating as an active member of the clinical leadership team. Mentors, orients, and trains new staff members. Manages inventory to assure adequate supply levels; monitors and assures staff compliance with WellStreet policies and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Candidates may be considered in the case of equivalent knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.)
· Graduate of accredited school
· Current certification in applied field
· Minimum of 2 years medical office experience
· Experience with electronic health records

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Has expertise in clinical service representative functions, including: patient triage (taking of vital signs and accurate/detailed medical history), specimen collection, point-of-care testing, EKG, dressing changes, medication administration and dispensing, immunization administration, performing radiology procedures, and documentation of care in an electronic health record
· Assists physician during examination
· Maintains par levels for required supplies in patient care rooms and storage areas. Assures cleanliness is maintained in the patient care rooms and general work areas.
· Maintains and operates all clinical equipment, including calibration, general maintenance requirements and record keeping in accordance with current policies and procedures
- Manages the compliance process for defective, missing equipment and safety hazards
LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintains accurate documentation of daily and monthly compliance logs, including but not limited to: Send Out Lab, X-Ray, Medication & Immunization, Communication, Outpatient Imaging, Opening/Closing Procedures, OSHA Binder, Monthly Emergency Drill Binder, Spore Testing, Autoclave & Piccolo Maintenance, and Inventory Invoices
· Maintains center par levels of pharmaceutical and medical supplies by completing a weekly inventory count and submitting timely supply order requisitions
· Performs on-going training and development for clinical service representatives
· Communicates concerns and feedback in a in a supportive manner consistent with WellStreet’s mission and values
· Works collaboratively with Practice Manager and provider staff to build relationships that foster a strong site team
· Assist Practice Manager with chart audits when requested
- Mentors and orients new clinical and patient services representatives
- Assist front office with documenting patient payments, scanning, filing and faxing documents; also ensuring all patient charts are verified and shredded within the 90-day time frame
· Maintains high level working knowledge of all aspects of EMR from intake through billing, interacts with the appropriate team members to ensure best practices and compliance
· Ensures all site level team members have adequate training for their assigned role and notifies site practice manager of any recognized issues
· Site lead for all compliance requirements, including but not limited to: X-ray, Lab, OSHA, Stericycle
· Performs other duties as assigned
