Spring '24 Intern - Risk Management

SUMMARY

This internship will provide support for the Risk Management team relating to litigation, insurance claims and real estate transactions as well as administrative support, as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage general liability and property damage claims coordinating with adjusters, attorneys and internal customers throughout the process to ensure rapid and equitable resolution;
• Monitor and track litigation, maintain status reports, and assist with case management;
• Compile underwriting information and maintain insurance schedules;
• Utilize and maintain the Risk Management Information System database preserving data integrity including the regular monitoring and upkeep of assigned matters; and
• Provide support for real estate transactions.

No travel is expected for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or related field.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
