Tax Accountant - International

SUMMARY

The Tax Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and/or first level of review of tax returns including federal, state and local returns for domestic jurisdictions and international jurisdictions. Coordination of workpapers and documentation to support return filings. Tax Accountant will communicate and work with third party service providers and operators to communicate various tax matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in coordination of trial balance requests or generating trial balances – US GAAP, UK GAAP, LUX GAAP, and IFRS
• Preparation of other necessary data required for tax analysis and return filings
• Preparation of US foreign tax filings, specifically Forms 8865, 8858, and 5471
• Support preparation of local country returns and to US foreign reporting forms prepared by third party service provider
• Assistance with tax estimate planning and processing
• Coordinate data requests from third parties and operators
• Correspondence with tax authorities
• Respond to all inquiries related to third party provider compliance
• Perform all other duties as assigned

TRAVEL

Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 1-3 years of tax experience in a CPA firm or in a corporate tax department is required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Professional certification such as CPA preferred or strong desire to pursue.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
