What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Drafter position at Wendel LLC?
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Structural Drafter to join our diverse and growing Engineering team out of our Williamsville, NY headquarters.
Responsibilities:
- Actively work on projects from concept phase to final design and through construction.
- Collaborate and share ideas with senior level staff on those projects.
- Assist with the structural drafting and layout of building systems/components in steel, concrete, masonry, wood, etc.
- Participate in project and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Hold an Associates Degree with focus in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling software (REVIT and AutoCAD).
- Experience producing structural design construction document for building type structures (preferred)
- Experience developing Revit content including custom families (preferred)
- Excellent PC skills.
- Microsoft Office software experience required.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the Engineering team.
- Ability to work on-site and travel if needed.

Hourly pay range: $20.00 - $30.00
