2023 Summer Internship | Marine Inventory Intern
School Year: Junior, Seniors
Dates of the Internship: June 1st, 2023, to August 4th, 2023
Format and Location: Hybrid, Lincolnshire IL
Camping World is looking for interns for the summer 2023 internship season to work closely within the Inventory department on our marine operations team. As an intern, you will assist with daily operations and gain first-hand experience in the field. We are looking for someone who is driven and wants to be fully immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn and have a strong interest in Business, Supply Chain Management, or the Marine Industry and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you. Camping World internships are ten-week, full-time, paid internships that will provide a great opportunity for those that want to jumpstart their careers.
Responsibilities:
- Review and report on current store selling trends
- Research industry trends including reviewing popular products and offerings
- Assist in maintaining accurate database information on Camping World's marine inventory
- Monitor store inventory levels and report on product availability
- Audit marine training and educational materials to ensure accurate product information
- Assist in other operations including support for boating events
Qualifications:
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or Finance
- Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and strict confidentiality of company information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be diligent, organized, and extremely detail-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes
- Boating experience is a plus
