What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Cutter position at Wendy's?
A meat cutter is responsible for making all cuts of meat including beef, pork, & poultry, and packaging/labeling the cuts for the meat case. The meat cutter works alongside and in coordination with the Market Manager. A meat cutter is also responsible for making special cuts at the request of our customers. A meat cutter reports to the Market Manager as well as the store manager. The store has updated equipment including an automatic wrapping system for efficiency and reduction in employee strain. Little Giant is known for our quality meat department, cut fresh daily. The cutter is responsible for maintaining the department and upholding our quality standards as well as safe handling practices for our customers. Experience is required.
