Creative Dining Services at Trinity International University is looking for a Student Dish Room Staff member with part-time availability. The Dish Room Staff maintains and sanitizes the kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment, utensils, dinnerware, and floors in clean and orderly condition.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and equipment to approved sanitation standards.
Returns clean items back to their proper location.
Sweeps, mops and performs general cleaning.
Puts stock away.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
The Dishwasher position involves continuous physical cleaning work involving the washing of all cooking and serving items and the ability to return them to their proper location. Additional physical tasks involve the ability to wipe surfaces, mop floors, move stock/inventory items. Must follow safe use instructions for cleaning chemicals. Dish crew personnel must be able to assist with a variety of tasks such as food prep and stock room. Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs. The environment may include hot, cold, or humid temperatures and wet floors and loud noise.

Education – Skills - Expectations
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
