Wenger Corporation is seeking manufacturing Product Technicians to perform routine materials inspection/handling, routine machine operations, manufacturing assembly, basic quality control, and packing/shipping prep under limited supervision within an assigned area in a manner, which meets or exceeds established quality and quantity standards for our manufacturing facility.
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Mechanical ability and aptitude to perform manufacturing processes
- Experience using hand tools and pneumatic air tools
- An ability to make independent judgment
- To be able to continuously stand and provide visual attention
It’d be great if you also have:
- Six plus (6 ) months of closely related experience
- An ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
As a Product Technician, a typical day may include:
- Reviewing work assignments, paperwork, and other documentation/directions to facilitate the best of time and activity for the shift
- Performing assembly processes assigned according to established policies, manufacturing procedures and standards of the area
- Checking completed work assemblies for conformance with specifications
- Conferring with more senior personnel and/or a coordinator to share information, observations and recommendations for improvements in processes which may increase overall results within established quality standards
- Helping maintain the assigned area in a clean, orderly condition to minimize safety hazards and lost-time accidents
- Contributing to a cooperative work effort through performance of assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner
Salary : $26,100 - $33,100
