Overview
This position is responsible for overseeing the Requisitioning Process, Procure to Pay for Inventory/Non-inventory/Services, Standard Cost, Fixed Assets and CMMS(Computer Managed Maintenance System) from an IT perspective. This role requires a combination of technical, analytical, and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the business processes and systems involved in the Procurement, Manufacturing, and Standard Cost Methodology. In addition to JD Edwards ERP system, this position is expected to understand other applications and how they interface with JD Edwards, either systemically or through manual processes.
Responsibilities
• Continually analyze the current procurement process and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and automation• Support and assist with configuration of CMMS, Fixed assets and shop floor systems in manufacturing• Lead the annual cost roll process from an IT perspective including enhancements, troubleshooting and guidance to the business• Collaborate with various stakeholders such as procurement, manufacturing, and finance to understand their needs and requirements• Evaluate and suggest IT solutions for business challenges within the ERP system or other tools• Design, test, and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction of the procurement process in conjunction with the broader IT team• Provide training and support to end-users • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and problems, including Service Desk tickets• Stay abreast of new JDE features and provide recommendations to stakeholders• Drive for standardization across business processes• Maintain documentation from a process and technology lens• Identify opportunities to eliminate custom code within the ERP and replace with native functionality or business process change• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience & Education:Required: • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience• Five years of experience as an IT Business analyst or a similar role, preferably in the procurement or manufacturing domain• Proficiency in procurement and manufacturing and the systems and tools involved, such as RFGen, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.Desired: • Ten years of experience as an IT Business analyst or a similar role, preferably in the procurement or manufacturing domain• Skilled in the procurement and manufacturing processes and the systems and tools involved, such as RFGen, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.• Basic understanding with AGILE and SCRUM software development methodologies• Basic understanding of SQL or other query languages for data extraction and analysis
