Overview

Purpose of the Job: This self-motivated individual will provide support for, but not limited to, the following areas:

 

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for analyzing business support requests and configuring declarative changes to support the requests and needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience with automation tools and a passion for learning new technologies. This person will interpret business requirements to perform the necessary changes and maintain existing processes to support the various business models. This position will also assist in completing change requests, issues, and defects. The Salesforce Administrator will resolve inquiries pertaining to the functional or workflow operation of end-user requests. The Salesforce Administrator will also provide first and second tier support for service desk incidents.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

  • Provide best practice support and guidance for problem resolution and product operation to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Create and Manage user set up, profiles and roles, fields, object customizations, record types, page layouts, templates, reports, dashboards, validation rules, flows, to support business functions.
  • Provide support for business process and task automation.
  • Assess and respond to user requests for product or service support.
  • Assist with gathering and interpreting business requirements to develop, maintain, and/or modify changes to the support model, evaluating, and interpreting user requests and recommending best practice solutions.
  • Protect our customers, employees, and brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in QA testing of new products and enhancements.
  • Maintain established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
  • Follow the change/enhancement process to document and communicate requests; provides follow-up; ensures completion of requests.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of documentation for internal support and/or training.
  • Proactively monitor maintenance schedules; assist with developing communication plans for planned and unplanned outages.
  • Maintain data integrity through ongoing data cleanup and validation activities.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate Experience with Salesforce Flow or similar Process Automation required.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with technical / SQL query capabilities required.
  • Intermediate Experience with Salesforce lightning platform required.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Lightning Component/Apex functions preferred.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Salesforce Communities (Partner and Customer) preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Mobile Platform preferred.
  • Beginner level proficiency with Data Loader, Salesforce Excel Connector, Workbench, or similar tools required.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce Flow or similar process automation tools preferred
  • Salesforce Admin and Platform App Builder Certifications preferred
