What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Werres Corp?
You'll be manually pulling materials, loading boxes and orders. You will be operating lift trucks - moving them and prepping them for maintenance. There is also some paperwork involved - so you must be able to read reports and orders and complete them with your own information when necessary. If you are someone who likes to be on their feet and moving all of the time, this is the position for you.
Ships and receives all equipment for all departments, ensures that all shipping paperwork is correct and all required signatures are obtained, communicates with internal customers regarding upcoming shipping/receiving needs, organizes warehouse within the boundaries set forth by management for optimum storage. Maintains warehouse, keeping neat and orderly, being mindful of safety.
Uses nail gun to secure lift in outbound OTR trucks, unchocks inbound loads
Be able to recognize issues/problems with internal bills of ladings and be able to assist in changing/correcting with departmental approval, ability to accurately keep records regarding equipment/shipments, able to assume responsibility for warehouse procedures as directed, communicates with supervisor(s) regarding issues.
