What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Analyst - Rebate position at Wesco?
We are seeking an Associate Rebate Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for rebate and rebill claim reconciliation for supplier special price authorizations. You will work closely with field operations management to resolve disputes and clear outstanding balances.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and train with Rebate Analyst on claim resolution process.
- Research claim rejections for assigned supplier lines.
- Works to maintain claim dollars where justified.
- Functions as liaison between purchasing, data services, supplier relations and supplier for claim resolution.
- Ensures appropriate documentation is obtained to support research findings.
- Assist Associate Pricing Analysts when needed.
- Run basic SQL queries to aid in research.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration required.
- 1 year of pricing, purchasing, or finance analytical experience required, 2 years preferred.
- 1 year of manipulating data files required, 3 years preferred.
- 1 year of loading data files into data management systems required, 2 years preferred.
- Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
- Ability to operate various types of office equipment including computers.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to prioritize and manage day to day activities.
- Strong interpersonal.
- Collaborative cross functional and management interaction.
