What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director - Product Executive position at WESCO?
As the Director - Product Executive (DPE), you will direct and oversee all aspects of the Product Lifecycle to facilitate successful development, release, and commercialization of new digital products and enhancements. You will set the product strategy, directly manages the product roadmap and backlog, oversees product development, product launch, marketing, and commercialization. You will lead a cross-functional group of technical and non-technical team members and is the single product authority accountable for its growth and success. You will regularly interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, including Senior Management, business and technology teams, customers, suppliers, and external partners.
Requirements:
* The Director, Product Executive is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the product, from ideation and inception to planning, development, and directing its retirement
* Drives product strategies and vision to build best in class digital products
* Accountable for the success of the product and ensures that the products deliver measurable value
* Takes the lead of scrum teams, develops and communicates the product roadmap across the enterprise and with external partners/stakeholders
* Develops a detailed understanding of user and business needs through persona identification, journey mapping, and a Design Thinking approach to product management
* Serves as the voice of the customer to the team and collaborates with stakeholders to define epics
* Plans and prioritizes the delivery of features based on business guidance, time, governance constraints, and value
* Communicates with Portfolio, Digital, and Business leaders
* Oversees the acceptance of work generated by the team under the agreed Definition of Done
* Ensures that the team always has the appropriate backlog of work
* Ensures appropriate training and deployment plans are in place
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
* 6 years Business and management principles in strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination of people and resources.
* 5 years Professional sales experience in related industry.
