As a Director - Talent Acquisition Operations you will lead next generation, global talent initiatives to attract, hire and retain the best talent to enable Wesco to continue to be a trusted partner for its suppliers and customers. You will partner with Talent, HR and business leaders to define and scope organizational needs and develop/lead execution of large project initiatives, change efforts, and process improvements across Talent Acquisition. These large-scale global initiatives and solutions will be focused on program and vendor management driving consistency and efficient operations across the areas of talent tools/systems/technologies, training/change management, operational policies and procedure creation, metrics and reporting and other key initiatives. In addition, you will be responsible for leading talent marketing and all branding/awareness initiatives in partnership with corporate Communications and Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Talent Acquisition programs and projects from inception to completion, consults with global key stakeholders to define project, and deliver project management strategy and logistics including project plans, change management, communications, and training materials.
- Identify, enhance, and optimize global talent systems in partnership with the Global HR Operations & Systems leadership.
- Define, scope, and prioritize all talent systems initiatives, as well as identify resource needs and plans to execute on priorities.
- Identify process/technology risks, ensuring necessary corrective measures are implemented and supported by change management activities. Perform root cause analysis, gap analysis and blueprint definition.
- Communicate process and technology changes to key global stakeholders, tracking change acceptance and any areas of training opportunity for Talent Acquisition or the business.
- Consult with leadership to define key talent metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service-Level Agreements (SLAs). Oversee the development of advanced dashboards and other analytical solutions to provide insight into hiring plans, progress to hiring goals, and all other talent operational metrics.
- Develop and execute the Talent Marketing strategy to build brand awareness and position Wesco as an employer of choice.
- Own the evolution and ongoing maintenance of the Wesco employer brand and develop associated marketing campaigns delivered through social media and the most impactful recruiting channels (e.g., LinkedIn, really, etc.).
- Define and implement overall strategy to measure candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Develop strategic relationships with third party talent partners and facilitates interactions on KPIs, SLAs, and troubleshooting issues across recruiting ecosystem.
- Identify automation opportunities and process improvements to improve delivery experience and drive strategic effectiveness initiatives.
- Develop and provide ongoing training/change management for stakeholders involved in the talent processes, covering best-practices, process execution, and changes to features brought by system upgrades.
- Represent Talent Acquisition Operations in cross-functional and global projects, including identifying, troubleshooting, and actioning talent-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters’ Degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Talent, Talent Acquisition or HR Operations, building and leading a fast growth and dynamic function
- 5 years program management experience in leading, planning, organizing, and implementing analysis of program service levels, quality, and vendor metrics, driving special projects designed to maximize efficiency and increase production and quality. Ability to interconnect process and technology
- Expertise in technical talent acquisition infrastructure (e.g., Applicant Tracking System, Recruitment Process Outsourcing/Managed Service Provider contracts, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in developing strategy and leading it through to execution and delivery. Consistent record of having met challenging financial and business targets
- Deep system knowledge of talent systems and ability to work in a matrixed environment with HR Systems and IT
- Strong analytical skills
- Project management experience and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures
- Strong results orientation, highly self-motivated, and ability to work independently
- Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high volume and high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of operational effectiveness methodologies
- Ability to quickly establish credibility with senior stakeholders and hiring managers, understanding their needs, and shaping innovating solutions whilst setting expectations as a true advisor and business partner
- Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and data analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) preferred
- Prior management consulting experience preferred
- Global accountability / experience preferred
- Ability to travel 0-25%
