About us
West Fork Whiskey Co. is craft distillery in Westfield, IN which opened in August of 2020 where we have created a tourism destination which consists of a restaurant, high end cocktail bar, an event space as well as distillery tours and education. We are looking to add to our current family of employees with full time, part time, and seasonal staff!
Description: The host is the welcome ambassador for Mash House at West Fork Whiskey Co. This position requires a friendly attitude in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be able to multitask, work efficiently and openly communicate with team members and guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Full knowledge of all West Fork Co. products and experiences as well as Mash House food and beverage menus
- Greeting and seating every guest who walks in the door
- Taking reservations and preparing tables for reservations
- Assessing open tables and wait times, communicating with guests
- Communicating with guests on upcoming tours or tastings if there is a wait
- Assisting in bussing/clearing tables to get them ready for new guests to be seated
- Seat guests while maintaining appropriate server rotation
- Receiving and prepping to go orders
- Maintaining tidy bathrooms throughout your shift
- Communicating well with manager, servers and guests
- We are building a family and the candidate must have a team mentality
- Restaurant experience preferred
- Experience working with Open Table is a plus, but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
