What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clean Up Level 1 position at West Fraser?
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform clean up duties over entire mill site and all departments
- Mow grass, push wheelbarrow, shovel sawmill refuse, including chips, bark, sawdust, cants boards, etc.
- Operate bobcat, chain saw, caterpillar, etc.
- Clean bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, etc., as needed
- Assist co-workers, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Showing a willingness and flexibility to perform various job assignments that may change daily
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning, decision-making and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to learn all required duties
- Must know how to follow directions
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Quick learner

- Have good attendance and safety record
- Experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
