We are looking for an experienced Recruiter with full lifecycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to screening to coordinating the interview process and facilitating offers, all while providing an exceptional candidate experience and applying recruiting best practices.

A successful recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers and Human Resources to fill current vacancies and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, colleges and universities, associations, Boolean internet searches, and referrals. The responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees while growing a strong and engaged talent pipeline.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, job fairs, etc
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes from all gathered data
  • Track and move candidates and activities through the process
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3 years of proven work experience in Human Resources
  • 2 years of full-time Recruitment experience (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc) *
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions independently
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues

Preferred skills

  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, heavy industrial, and/or highly technical roles
  • Experience with UKG

  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check
