Job Summary:
The Senior Statistician is responsible for advancing the leadership, statistical knowledge, and project base of the statistics and data science program to support a wide range of environmental projects and the organization.
The minimum base salary is $90,000-$120,000, plus annual bonus. Salary may vary based on education, knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Integrates scientifically defensible solutions into consulting strategy.
- Provide guidance to internal WEST staff and external clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Develops innovative ideas.
- Thought leader; leads and/or supports research efforts.
- Publishes peer-reviewed papers or white papers.
- Manages complex projects.
- Engages clients in discussions relating to areas in which WEST could provide support.
- Works closely with WEST business development leaders in marketing, business development presentations, and client outreach.
- Statistical review of proposals, analyses, and reports.
- Effectively works with teams in offices across the country.
- Presents at conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
