Preferred Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate (within 3 years) of Colorado State University
- Demonstrated interest in working with wildlife data and databases
- Ability to stay focused and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work 60 hours over the course of the summer averaging 5 hours per week with flexible schedule; annotators may work more/less in a given week as needed to accommodate academic schedules so long as overall hour commitment is met by end of summer
- Capable of appearing for work on time, sitting for long periods of time; following instructions from managers; interacting effectively with coworkers and clients; maintaining a positive attitude; accepting guidance and constructive criticism
After an offer of employment is made, the candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and a DMV records check that meets WEST’s minimum criteria to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of the company. A valid driver’s license will be required. Candidates must adhere to all health and safety requirements.
