Full time position available for a property manager/office assistant to join our team. This is a rare opportunity for one qualified individual. Duties include, answering phones, printing reports, completing inspections of vacation rental properties (Tahoe City to Homewood only), including detailed inventory inspections for long term rentals and winter leases, stocking guest amenities such as toiletries, laundry detergent, kitchen supplies, etc. Creating flyers for homes for sale & rent, computer experience a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have personal reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance and be comfortable driving in winter conditions
· Physical agility and stamina required – must be able to lift 25 lbs., move quickly, push, pull, bend, kneel, walk stairs, etc
· Must be comfortable working independently and display good communication, organization, and time management skills
· Basic computer knowledge (Office Word & Excel a plus) – check arrivals, print reports and use email on a daily basis.
· Ability to travel to areas from Tahoe City to Homewood is a must - travel will be as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The Vacation Rental Property Manager is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and preparing properties for short term vacation rentals while following company standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety/security
· Completing inspections of vacation rental properties for maintenance, noting any damages or housekeeping issues prior to guest arrival
· Will include detailed inspections and inventory for long term rentals and winter/summer leases
· Reporting concerns that may impede a guest’s stay and putting in work orders
· Performing small repairs such as (but not limited to) replacing smoke detector batteries and changing light bulbs
· Housekeeping touch-ups may be necessary at times
· Troubleshooting internet routers, TVs and entertainment systems, heating systems, hot water heaters, and hot tubs
· Stocking guest amenities such as toiletries, laundry detergent, kitchen supplies, light bulbs, etc.
· Occasional light snow removal of entryways and hot tubs
· Taking photos of homes, photo adjusting skills a plus.
· Creation of social media and blog posts
· Updating listings of current vacation rentals and properties listed for sale
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
