RN Clinical Supervisor - ARD

West Lakes Surgery Center is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the position of Clinical Supervisor ‐ ARD.

Regularly in this position you will . . .

• Assist the Director in preparation of daily personnel assignments and delegation of duties according to experience and skill level to provide quality patient care.
• Assist in cross‐training clinical staff to create a productive work environment for all clinical areas.
• Coordinate scheduling of procedures with scheduling personnel.
• Assist the Director in evaluating the performance of all clinical personnel and for assessing and continuously improving the quality of care and services.
• Observe the performance of all clinical staff members and provide feedback to the Director.
• Ensure that staff implement established facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in designated committees.
• Analyze clinical documentation to ensure facility’s policies/procedures are followed.
• Serve as a liaison among patients, families, nursing, and medical staff to coordinate quality patient care.
• Promote harmonious relations and favorable attitudes among the healthcare team.

Success in this position will require . . .

• Active RN license for the state of Iowa
• BLS and ACLS certification, PALS preferred
• Evidence of previous leadership ability
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal, and telephone communication
