West O Fitness is a family-owned local gym looking to hire evening and weekend staff primarily at our both of our locations (180th & Maple, 180th & Harrison). Flexibility to work at either location is a hiring advantage although the immediate need is at Harrison. Applicants must be able to work two Sundays a month.

Responsibilities of the job include:

  • Arrive on time to every scheduled shift
  • Willingness to develop an in-depth knowledge about the gym, equipment and amenities
  • Become proficient with the computer system so that you can properly check members in, sign up new members, sell retail items and conduct all standard business transactions
  • Lead tours of the gym for prospective members with the goal of selling memberships
  • Keep the gym immaculate by following standard cleaning procedures
  • Perform basic receptionist duties such as greeting every member, answering the phone, and adhere to all practices and procedures of the gym
  • Work harmoniously with everyone in the gym including other staff, members, and prospective members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
