Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at West Service Center. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, assisting them with their vehicle service needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
As an automotive service advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns or service requests.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, documenting customer concerns and identifying necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Provide detailed explanations of required repairs, maintenance, and service options, including estimated costs and timelines.
- Schedule appointments and manage the service process, ensuring timely completion of work and effective communication with customers.
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive repairs, maintenance, and service procedures to effectively assist customers and address their inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Document all relevant service information accurately and maintain organized service records.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and new products to provide customers with the latest information and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.
- Solid knowledge of automotive repairs, maintenance, and service procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to assist and support customers.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in computer systems and experience with automotive service software.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
