Bartender

The Bartender is to provide an excellent guest drinking experience and develop great drinking and gaming clientele. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes salary and tips.

Requirements

- High School Diploma.
- Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Enthusiastic, positive, high-energy, engaging personality and professional appearance.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong task and time management abilities.
- Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proven working experience as a Gaming Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Flexible and able to work well independently and in team

Responsibilities

- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences,
making recommendations, and taking drink and bar food orders.
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
-Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials.
- Have good understanding of not only bar menu but also food menu and daily specials by
maintaining close communication with Kitchen Manager and servers and make appropriate
recommendations to customers on specials
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience by observing and being
sensitive to customers’ needs
- Ability to remember VIP customers and determine their preference

- Build a strong gaming clientele
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies and take weekly inventory and place
supply orders to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and
returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing
glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Change and cash out on gaming machines as well as balance safe on a every night shift close out
- Working with digital dining sale system
- Refilling ATM (when available), balance cash dispenser for gaming safe and reimburse
gaming bank
- Keep cost in line, develop new cocktail recipes, and create bar incentives, new promotion ideas and contents to drive sales and promote venues

- Maintain the bar and work areas clean and sanitary in compliance with bar standards and

local, state, and federal regulations
- Any other related duties that may be requested from Management to maintain clean, safe
and profitable operations of the establishment
