Description
The Midstream SCADA Analyst is responsible for the development and maintenance of the WTG Midstream SCADA assets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Commissioning, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting of WTG Midstreams SCADA system
• Liaison with SCADA product vendor
• Assures system reliability, and assists with disaster recovery
• Maintains and tests primary and backup systems
• Maintains HMI standards
• Maintains compliance records
• Point to Point verifications
• Screen development
• Assists with alarm management and alarm configuration
• Assists Commercial, Engineering, OCC, and other groups with data acquisition and reports
• Interfaces with I&E, IT, OCC, and other groups to solve complex issues
Qualifications
High School diploma, or equivalent – GED or trade school
• Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with SCADA Platforms, development, and related equipment
• Experience preferred, but will consider education specific to SCADA systems
• Must be able to work a 40-hour week in our Midland office, consisting of normal office hours. Must be able to provide support as needed for a 24/7/365 pipeline operation that may include nights, weekends, or Holidays
• Infrequent travel may be required
The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed. Position is subject to random drug testing as required.
