    CERTIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate/GED; Passing score on the state Secretary and Accountant Service Personnel Test

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Maintain confidentiality, unquestionable integrity
    • Serve as financial secretary, maintaining all financial records in compliance with state and county regulations and/or policies
    • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast pace environment
    • Must be able to produce accurate work with frequent interruptions
    • Must be able to operate office equipment and software programs
    • Provide secretarial, bookkeeping, and clerical support
    • May be responsible for scheduling of professional trips and/or in-services
    • Ability to produce reports or process purchase orders using the county and state accounting system
    • May schedule the facilities/coordinate and make necessary arrangements for activities, events, and/or meetings
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and community
    • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
    • Keep administrator(s) informed of all aspects of building/program requirements
    • Prepare accurate written communications including letters, newsletters, and notices
    • Design forms as needed
    • Inspect, verify, and process documents, such as requisitions, invoices, and checks
    • File materials, maintain classified or confidential files, transfer records to inactive files
    • Maintain incoming and outgoing correspondence
    • Design, implement, and access files and filing system
    • Order books, periodicals, and school supplies
    • Place and receive telephone calls
    • Prepare payroll records (assist in maintaining timesheets for personnel and be responsible for expediting them to the finance office)
    • Compose, type, and process correspondence
    • Preform data entry accurately and efficiently
    • Compile daily lunch counts to provide to cafeteria managers
    • Utilize computerized point of service program to fulfill reporting requirements of school lunch program
    • Receive cost payments from non-students for meals sold, post and balance
    • Collects and records lunch program payments to each student account
    • Maintain all applicable food service files as required by county policy, state , and federal programs
    • Demonstrate behavior that reflects established professional responsibilities (i.e., attendance, punctuality, professional dress, verbal/nonverbal communication)
    • Prepare accurate county, state, and federal reports from raw data
    • Greet visitors, answer phones, respond to inquires, and accurately routes messages
    • Work well with staff and public, use proper language when talking with students, school visitors, and staff
    • Maintain and/or upgrades skills
    • Preforms all tasks accurately and efficiently
    • Maintain positive work habits
    • Obtain job related training
    • Performs duties as assigned by immediate supervisor(s)
    ADDITIONAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
