COLLEGE ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE

WVJC is seeking a motivated professional to join our college admissions team as an Admissions Representative.

Our admissions representatives work very closely with potential students, offering a personal enrollment experience. We seek individuals who will work well as part of a dynamic team while focusing on individual goals. A successful admissions representative will have excellent relationship-building skills, efficient time management, and solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Admissions Representatives serve as the first point of contact for potential students expressing interest in one of WVJC’s fast-track associate degree programs.
• Contacting new and old inquiries via phone, email, text, and social media to set up one-on-one or group information sessions
• Conducting information sessions/college interviews with prospective students
• Building relationships with potential students and their families
• Facilitating prospects' progression through the enrollment process
• Adhering to a detailed multi-step process designed to ensure a positive enrollment experience and a plan for each student’s success in their respective programs
• Maintaining regular follow-up with students even after enrollment
• Developing referrals
• Meeting goals, including daily metrics expectations such as number of calls, talk time, etc.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred
• MUST have proven ability to follow a structured process with multiple steps and advanced activity tracking
• MUST have solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Meets, etc), Zoom, Social Media, and more
• Strong customer service and relationship skills are essential
• Excellent time management skills are required
• Must be driven and motivated to meet and exceed goals and expectations
• Must be flexible and available to students outside of regular work hours when needed
• Important note: This is a sales/customer service/phone position. Applicants must be comfortable with goals, metrics tracking, and LOTS OF PHONE TIME!!!!

• Full Time
• Salaried position (No commission or bonus structure)
• Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays
• Note: This position does not offer medical or retirement benefits
