Special Hiring Rates: $48,207.12 - Department of Health and Human Resources, Bureau for Public Health, Office of Laboratory ServicesUnder general supervision, this mid-level position will perform full-performance level, analytical, diagnostic, and epidemiological laboratory testing in the General Microbiology Section. Primarily responsible for conducting high complexity testing for bacteriology, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, vaccine preventable disease surveillance, Influenza, and Rabies. Will perform a variety of laboratory duties, analytical procedure validations, and quality assurance and control studies in such fields as diagnostic and surveillance microbiology.
