COMPENSATION RANGE: $21 HR.
LOCATION(s): SACRAMENTO, CA.
ENGINEERING INTERN
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide timely assistance in execution of water, sewer, and drainage system modeling, master planning and design.
- Assist in the preparation technical reports in support of projects.
- Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizes computers to solve problems.
- Assist in performing quantity take offs and developing opinions of probable cost.
- Work with CADD Technicians in order to complete design details and plan sets.
- Input and analyzes data from a GIS database.
- Communicate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staff.

REQUIREMENTS
- Required Education and/or Experience
- Must be pursuing bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Excellent writing and communication skills are essential
- Experience with CAD and GIS
- Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Emphasis on environmental/water resources engineering is beneficial
- Coursework and research experience in water and wastewater supply, distribution and treatment, and water quality
