Summary: The Program Manager of the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and strategic direction of the CSU program. This role ensures that the CSU operates efficiently and effectively, meeting all clinical, administrative, and operational standards. The Program Manager will oversee the delivery of crisis intervention services, staff supervision, compliance with regulatory standards, and the achievement of program goals. Contributes significantly to program development, quality assurance, staff supervision, budgeting and service coordination with other agencies. Works autonomously in carrying out the goals and functions of the program. Provides programmatic and consultative assistance to other programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Develops strategy for long range plan to support rapid growth within program.
- Supervises and supports a multidisciplinary team, including behavioral health technicians, nurses, case managers, and administrative staff.
- Provides leadership necessary to facilitate growth and improvement within program.
- Oversees the provision of crisis intervention, stabilization, and short-term treatment services to individuals experiencing acute behavioral health crises.
- Works with staff to assist in meeting productivity standards.
- Monitors and updates policies, procedures and operational guidelines of program to ensure compliance
- Educates agency programs and community resources about program.
- Communicates regularly with other Program Directors to stay informed of concerns, questions, needs and achievements.
- Is responsible for onboarding clinical staff in conjunction with Human Resources, by scheduling appropriate training and shadowing of other clinicians.
- Facilitates communication between senior leadership and front-line staff by attending leadership meetings and serving as a conduit for important information.
- Manages the program budget ensuring expenses remain within budget and revenues are meeting expectations
- Complies with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations
- Maintains confidentiality of all information and complies with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide ongoing staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and coverage for 24/7 operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. Human services experience can be substituted for years of education. Prior computer/PC experience using computerized medical records. Must have previous supervisory/management experience. Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background checks as well as post offer drug screen.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Mobility and ability to sit for long periods of time use a standard computer keyboard, bend, reach and lift up to 10 pounds are required in this position.
