Westbrook Media is hiring a Media Asset Coordinator who will work with the Media Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day workflow of all Westbrook Media assets (both digital and physical) to ensure they are efficiently tracked, organized and delivered as needed. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for maintaining a streamlined workflow to get our assets in and out quickly, without loss of information or quality.
What you'll do:
- Download & ingest raw footage to storage, utilizing the CatDV MAM system to add metadata and appropriate keywords, adhering to company organizational standards.
- Archive and unarchive footage utilizing LTO
- Log in/out and track all computers and hard drives in the field and at headquarters
- Ensure that all assets adhere to the given technical specifications, follow mandated file naming conventions and pass QC
- Work closely with Production and Post-production teams to manage timely delivery of assets and ensure that they adhere to company standards.
- Log outgoing media assets.
- Send files through Sony Ci, Frame.io, Dropbox & other media sharing platforms.
- Occasionally ingest footage, music, graphics, VO, and references into Premiere Proor AVID Media Composer, create string-outs, sync multiple cams and audio.
- Assist with managing, tracking, and distributing NLE licenses as well as other software & plugins
- Collaborate with the Media Operations Manager to improve operational workflows by providing smart solutions
This position requires:

Required experience:
- Backing up/Archiving projects. LTO a plus.
- Trouble-shooting media codecs, aspect ratio, plugin license issues for editors.
- Proficiency with MacOS required. PC is a bonus
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and AVID Media Composer
- Strong QC skills.
- Understanding of shared area network storage (SAN)
- Understanding of 8K, 4K, 2K, HD/SD, and Vertical formats.
- Prior experience working at a post house or social media-centric company is a plus
