Job Title: Vault Teller Location: Ops Center What you'll do: The position of Central Vault Teller is responsible for accurately receiving incoming commercial deposits, processing the deposits, making the necessary adjustments to the deposits, and selling the verified unsorted cash to the Central Vault throughout the day. In addition, the Central Vault Teller may be responsible for maintaining counterfeit currency reporting,and assist in maintaining the shredding of reports, proof work, and plastics within the Banks guidelines. What we are looking for: Balances cash drawer daily. Process deposits and other transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Maintains daily armored car logs and obtains appropriate signatures on incoming and outgoing manifests. Process transfers of money (TXs) between vault and tellers. Minimum Requirements: A Central Vault Teller I requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) year of related experience. Work-related experience should consist of extensive cash handling and/or customer service background. Ability to lift 50lbs or more continuously. Ability to stand for a long period of time. Intermediate knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies. The environment for this position is an open office that is mostly clean and comfortable. It may include some minor annoyances such as moderate noise, odors, drafts, etc. The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. Ability to operate any or all of the following: Telephone, currency and coin counter, copy and fax machines, MICR encoder, adding machine (calculator), typewriter, personal computer, and miscellaneous computer-related equipment (ex. printers). Ability to speak, listen, and see (with or without correction) Ability to function in a typical office environment, engaging in activities such as writing, typing, walking, standing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, reaching, and kneeling. Ability to use a variety of computer-related equipment. Ability to read documents or instruments, engage in detailed work, problem-solving, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal communication, written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, training others, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruption. Compensation Information: Hourly pay for NV is generally $18.18/hour to 20.88/hour. Hourly pay is determined by specific job location.
