The Quality Lab Technician will be responsible for testing raw materials and finished products in the lab to ensure company and customer quality standards are being met. Work will include physical and microbiological testing, general instrument maintenance, recording and reporting data, and other assignments as needed.

• Conduct routine and high level laboratory testing according to written instructions
• Maintain accurate and complete records
• Calculate and interpret results
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness at all times.
• Understand and follow SOPs, GMPs, and GLPs.
• Help ensure laboratory compliance with relevant regulations and standards at all levels

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with chromatography, analytical chemistry, ICP-MS, or microbiology testing.
• Work safely with chemicals with reasonable safety accommodations.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS office, excel and word.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Work Environment:

Lab work in a manufacturing environment which may include standing, sitting, bending, walking, climbing stairs, wet/slippery and slick surfaces, and the presence of strong odors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
