  • Responsibilities:
    An IT Technical Associate I typically:
    • Develop, manage, maintain and distribute data
      • Basic programming
      • Basic data retrieval and analysis
      • Data distribution
      • Research and analyze existing policies, operations and procedures
      • Recommend improvement of methods or procedures
      • Coordinate with Administrative Information Management Systems to manage and revise database
      • Collect and maintain data then perform analysis and follow-up studies
      • Incorporate procedures to ensure accuracy of results, integrity and security of data
      • Confer with various users to determine need and feasibility for enhancements and revisions
      • Research, test and recommend new products
      • Train staff on database; answers questions and acts on request on procedural or system issues
      • Establishes and maintains documentation for new and existing applications; develops manuals
      • Authorizes access to database
      • Reviews, revises and tests all areas of database
    • Develops, manage, maintain and distribute data to external agencies
  • Required Qualifications:
    CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the following categories:
      • College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT Management, Programming, IT systems, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
        • 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
        • Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
        • 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
        • Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
      • Work experience in IT-related functions, such as hardware/software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field.
  • Starting Salary: $2,978/month
