Responsibilities:
An IT Technical Associate I typically:
- Develop, manage, maintain and distribute data
- Basic programming
- Basic data retrieval and analysis
- Data distribution
- Research and analyze existing policies, operations and procedures
- Recommend improvement of methods or procedures
- Coordinate with Administrative Information Management Systems to manage and revise database
- Collect and maintain data then perform analysis and follow-up studies
- Incorporate procedures to ensure accuracy of results, integrity and security of data
- Confer with various users to determine need and feasibility for enhancements and revisions
- Research, test and recommend new products
- Train staff on database; answers questions and acts on request on procedural or system issues
- Establishes and maintains documentation for new and existing applications; develops manuals
- Authorizes access to database
- Reviews, revises and tests all areas of database
- Develops, manage, maintain and distribute data to external agencies
- Required Qualifications:
CREDENTIALS TO BE VERIFIED
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Any one or any combination totaling two (2) years (24 months) from the following categories:
- College coursework which includes Information Technology (IT), IT Management, Programming, IT systems, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
- 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months)
- Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months)
- 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months)
- Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months)
- Work experience in IT-related functions, such as hardware/software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field.
- Starting Salary: $2,978/month
