Behavior Specialist
The Head Start Behavior Specialist provides support and coaching to all classroom staff to promote positive behavior strategies throughout the Head Start Program. The Behavior Specialist ensures all services are in accordance with federal, state, local, and Agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education, Social Work or related field and 3 years’ experience working with children and families. ·
- Must have demonstrated leadership, managerial, and organizational skills. ·
- Must have documented ability to:
- Communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
- Work well with the public.
- Operate office equipment, including but not limited to copy machines, fax machines, calculators, multi-line communications system, etc.
- Operate PC with working knowledge of Microsoft software applications including Windows, Microsoft Office, and related program software.
- Display an ability to learn and utilize new/custom software applications as required.
- Work well with and without supervision, and with other staff.

Salary: $33,150.00 to $37,050.00 /year
