Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as initial point-of-contact for telephone and walk-in inquiries, serving both internal and external customers; researches accurate responses by communicating with functional HR areas and/or determines nature of business and directing to appropriate personnel
- Supports the hiring process by completing background checks, Forms I-9, employment letters, exit interviews, etc.
- Provides support to Leave Administration through data entry and reporting needs
- Supports HR operations by performing a variety of administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, schedule preparation, office supply orders, and maintenance of conference room calendars
- Maintains and provides oversight of departmental budget and financial records including procurement card transactions and purchase orders
- Assists with digital media content and updates on departmental website
- Participates in departmental event coordination and special projects, such as researching and providing information related to company policies, compliance, and other Human Resources programs
- Provide backup responsibilities to other HR functions as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to utilize a computer for extended periods of time
- Capable of providing in-person assistance to employees
- Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position in a competent manner following the highest standards of professionalism, communication, integrity, and customer service
- Organized and detail-oriented with the capacity to work in an environment with frequent interruption
- Ability to multi-task while establishing priorities
- Ability to convey empathy, patience, and listening skills
Additional Information:
Hourly Rate: $17.44 - $19.49/hr
