The Gordon Ford College of Business (GFCB) is seeking a business professional to assist our college in the growth of our graduate programs. The Director, Graduate Programs Recruiting and Student Experiences will serve as the point person for GFCB's four graduate programs and six graduate certificates. In this role, the successful candidate will lead graduate recruitment and student experience opportunities through community, business, and educational engagement opportunities and partnerships throughout the WKU service region.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees day-to-day operations for GFCB Strategic Graduate Enrollment Management process. Collaborates with Graduate Program Coordinators on administrative needs including issue resolution, registration questions, and requests for information from students.
  • Serves as the point person for recruiting. Executes recruiting plan by attending face-to-face business and organization meetings. Coordinates with the graduate school on applicant flow. Develops strategies to attend relevant career fairs, education events, and other opportunities to showcase GFCB in WKU's service area.
  • Facilitates bridge programs between Gordon Ford College of Business and the business community in areas such as faculty research, externships, and other skill-sensing activities to inform curriculum. Connects students with potential opportunities through creative strategies.
  • Oversees student experience opportunities for both face-to-face and online programs. Delivers live group and individual Zoom sessions for touchpoints throughout the Strategic Graduate Enrollment process, including information sessions, program orientation sessions, advising, and exit interviews.
  • Schedules and assists faculty with Student Portfolio assessments and meetings for certificate programs.
  • Prepares reports to track, monitor, and maintain program metrics. Identifies trends and makes recommendations for improvement areas. Plans and executes improvement projects.
  • Collaborates with the GFCB Marketing Coordinator on design and production of print and promotional materials. Regularly updated marketing materials that may include presentations, website, and assigned social media.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in a business setting
  • Relevant experience in at least one functional area is required: recruiting, sales, executive education, and/or operations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Skills
