Facilities Operations Director

Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Facilities Operations Director.

Responsibilities: Direct, manage, supervise, and coordinate the programs and activities of the Facilities; coordinate assigned activities with other campus departments, divisions, and outside agencies. Establish and maintain a work environment with firm expectations of high-quality, professional performance and interaction that aligns with the College’s values and code of ethics.

Responsible for all aspects of the Facilities including personnel management; budget management; assisting with coordination of capital construction and renovation; maintenance of all buildings and grounds; energy management systems; providing an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable environment for students, faculty, and staff. Assist with the implementation of the Campus Master Plan and provide input for long-range Facilities planning.

Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate’s degree with five years of increasingly responsible experience in construction and facilities maintenance and three years of management and supervisory responsibility will be considered. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC’s vehicle insurance is required.
