The corporate headquarters in located in Butler Wisconsin. All locations are linked together with an ELAN solution allowing access to the primary data center in Butler Wisconsin. If you’re hard-working and dedicated, Western States is a perfect place to grow your career.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Work with other team members to keep operations running in the plants. Help maintain our VMware environment. Tasks would include building new VM Guests, maintaining backups and ensure the production environment is running properly.Have good understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, On Premise Shoretel/Mitel phone system and telephone management, Desktop Management, Wifi, Rf guns, Zebra printers, Web sites and maintain windows-based applications.Be able to perform troubleshooting on hardware and software to determine what needs fixed to resolve problems.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Two-year or higher technical degree in information systems or computer science.3 to 5 years of Microsoft Server experience.5 years of IT experience.Working knowledge of virtualization, VMware or equivalent.Strong knowledge of system, networking and Desktop management.Experience with scripting and automation tools.PREFERRED SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE KNOWLEDGE Networking hardware – Fortinet firewalls, Juniper switches and routers, AWS cloud services, PRTG, Lansweeper.HP servers, VMware, VSAN, SAN, HP Access Point, QNAP, HP Nimble, Veeam and familiar with IBM iseries, Laser vault.Microsoft print serversMicrosoft server 2008, 2021 2016, 2019Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10Microsoft SQLserver, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, Tableau, Marketo, Citrix, Drupal, Ubuntu, Metaviewer, Electronic door access systems, IP Security cameras, Paperless Shopfloor and a good working knowledge of Excel.
