WVP is highly acquisitive and focused on continued growth and expansion into new regional markets and states. Post-acquisition, WVP supports its partner practices with the non-clinical side of the business by providing industry leading non-clinical business support services.

We are seeking an Analyst who will support the Business and Corporate Development teams in evaluating new acquisition opportunities. The candidate will join a highly collaborative and motivated team in a fast-pace, entrepreneurial environment. Qualified candidates should demonstrate a strong desire and passion for financial / valuation analysis, a positive and goal-oriented attitude, excellent communication skills, a desire to learn from and help others, and either acquisition / transaction experience (acquisitions, financings, brokering the sale of businesses, investment banking, private equity, accounting advisory, consulting, public accounting) or industry experience with acquisitive, multi-site healthcare platforms.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Create financial models to help the Business and Corporate Development team assess new investment opportunities
  • Perform valuation analyses and create various purchase price / acquisition structures for potential targets
  • Analyze financial statements to understand the profitability of potential acquisition targets and create pro forma assumptions
  • Collect all relevant financial, operational, and HR diligence information from various targets needed to perform a holistic valuation
  • Perform trend analysis on acquisition targets
  • Create investment memorandums to seek investment approval
  • Create proposals (indications of interest, letters of interest, etc.) to be presented to potential acquisition targets
  • Support the Corporate Development team throughout confirmatory due diligence process (quality of earnings, operational / legal diligence, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in finance or accounting or undergraduate degree in finance or accounting (prior experience as a financial analyst is a plus)
  • Strong undergraduate academic performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 annually. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. For positions based in Colorado, WVP provides eligible employees with paid sick and safe leave and public health emergency leave in accordance with the requirements of Colorado's Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
