Job Posting for Endoscopy Technician at Westerville Endoscopy Center
The Westerville Endoscopy center is looking for FULL TIME Endoscopy Technician for a busy Outpatient Ambulatory Center.
No weekends or holidays, hours may vary slightly, but will generally be between the hours of 630am-530pm Monday thru Friday.
As a participant in Medicare/Medicaid, we are required under the CMS vaccination mandate to ensure that all of our employees are fully vaccinated, unless they qualify for a reasonable accommodation or exemption.
Responsibilities include:
Assists physicians with endoscopy procedures, collects specimens as necessary.
Sets up procedure room with equipment and supplies
Responsible for care and maintenance of equipment
Responsible for care, maintenance and disinfection of endoscopic washer, works with repair company as needed
Prepares appropriate paperwork and endoscopes for repair
Maintain equipment records
Maintains appropriate inventory levels and assists with ordering, adheres to cost containment measures
Cleans and disinfects scopes and instruments used during procedure
Adheres to infection control principles and applies universal precautions according to guidelines and policies
Turns over procedure room between cases
Assists with patient care under the direction of the registered nurse
Other tasks as delegated, may include obtaining vital signs and patient care as needed
