Engineering Analysis Technician

This position identifies engineering work which requires a high degree of manipulative or other special skills acquired.

1. Assist in the analysis, summarization, and preparation of data into written and/or graphic form requiring calculations

involving the use of basic algebraic formulae and trigonometric functions.

2. Review computer program input utilizing computer input sheets or specific check programs.

3. Assist in the preparation of computer input alterations and modifications based on information derived from initial raw

data analysis.

4. Assist in the modification of existing non-complex computer programs.

5. Catalog and maintain computer input and output files, calculation notes and associated records.

6. Run data analysis and/or computer plotting programs utilizing existing computer systems.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

  • Associates degree
    • Must Haves
      • 6 Credits in Math
      • 6 Credits in Physics

  • OR
  • 60 College Credits in an Engineering Curriculum
    • Must Haves
      • 6 Credits in Math
      • 6 Credits in Physics
