Project Billing Coordinator - $27 - $34 DOE

Westlake is currently seeking a part time Project Billing Coordinator to join our team in Tigard, OR 97224.

Who We Are:

• A locally owned company since 1983, Westlake offers professional surveying, civil engineering, and land use planning services. Specialty areas include 3D laser scanning, precision industrial measurement and wind energy development services. 

About the Role:

• The Project Billing Coordinator will play an integral role in making sure we provide a top-notch client experience. Many of our projects involve multiple consultants and contractors, requiring a collaborative team effort from our accounting group.

What You’ll Do:

• Preparing client billings and associated job cost reports, labor transfers, interest billings, extra work authorizations, and project close-out reports
• Will provide assistance to other Accounting Team members as required, and sharing in the responsibility of some administrative duties, including acting as back-up on our phone system
• Submit all payment Applications and process/complete client billing forms as needed
• Ensure project file integrity
• Review, process, and track Change Orders and Change Order Requests 
• Handle data entry input using Microsoft Office
• General office administrative tasks include copying, filing, and using MS Outlook

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ prior accounting experience in professional services ideally within the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industries
• Minimum 1 year experience in the AEC industry preferred
• Experience with Deltek software strongly preferred
• Associate degree from a community college or business school

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Outlook, Word 
• Exhibit keyboard speed and accuracy
