WESTLAKE WARRIOR | Customer Relations Specialist (WSLS)
The primary objective of this position is the maximization of Westlake’s cross-marketing and retention efforts, accomplished through telemarketing, mail, email, and other contact opportunities. Superior telephone, customer service, and sales ability are essential for the successful candidate.
The successful Customer Relations Specialist will act as a point of contact for both Westlake dealerships and Westlake customers, promoting various customer marketing initiatives, including post-inception product sales and consumer retention programs. The customer relations specialist is an internal sales representative focused on existing, former, and potential Westlake customers, and will support Westlake's dealership partners in providing sales leads.
The successful candidate is self-directed in work prioritization and will demonstrate good judgment-making ability within the scope of the position’s areas of responsibility. The associate will perform all duties in accordance with Westlake policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you.
- Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls for independent and franchise dealers.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for all levels of management within the Franchise dealership.
- Develop and maintain and grow current client and potential client relationships within the independent and franchise dealer communities.
- Constant communication with Independent and Franchise dealers on current promotions, marketing information, and training documents.
- Train dealers on proper documentation needed for fast-funding of contracts.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Automotive, Finance and Sales Experience; preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Outlook); required
- Knowledge of Web Applications (Chrome, Internet Explorer); required
- Knowledge/Experience with the use of DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL; preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Presentation skills (from initial creation to delivery)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of cold calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Highschool diploma required. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, preferred
