The server has a great impact on how restaurant guests and members perceive their dining experience. A genuine friendly, attentive, knowledgeable server can help ensure that the guest is satisfied with his/her food selection and is eager to return.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

One year certificate from college or technical school; three to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, members, or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to apply common sense to unexpected situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock, burns from hot equipment and lacerations from sharp objects. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The pace is generally moderate and may be fast.
Employees are required to perform all tasks as safely as possible and to adhere to applicable safety procedures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
INTERACTION:
Daily interaction with managers, supervisors, service, kitchen personnel, and customers. Periodic interaction and other departmental personnel.
STANDARD CLUB REQUIREMENTS:
Employees are expected to present a clean and neat appearance while on the job. Clothing is to be kept clean and pressed. Personal cleanliness is expected, including wearing deodorant, bathing and oral hygiene. Excessive make-up and jewelry is not permitted. Employees are expected to arrive to work on time and leave personal belongings at home or in a locker. Employees should conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with members, management and other staff.
SCHEDULING:
This company is open seasonally for a minimum 3 months; we operate seven days a week. Shifts will generally be rotated, as much as possible to be fair to everyone. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand. In addition, it should be understood that business needs determines the amount of hours that you work.
